Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and milk. Mix well.
- Add the granulated sugar and stir until it dissolves completely.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt for flavor enhancement.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for churning. Usually, this takes about 20-25 minutes.
- Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container.
- Freeze the ice cream for a few hours or until it’s firm and scoopable.
- Serve your homemade classic vanilla ice cream in cones, bowls, or alongside your favorite desserts.
